Privacy notice
This is a reference translation, provided so that the terms can be read in English. The Japanese text is the sole governing version, and these terms are governed by Japanese law. Where the two differ, the Japanese text applies.
What we collect
- Purchase, customer and payment identifiers issued by the payment provider, the email address used at payment, the amount, the currency and the state of the purchase
- Product entitlements, an anonymous purchase licence ID, hashes of download tokens and of the distributed archive, expiry dates and download counts
- The minimum access records needed to prevent misuse and investigate faults
- A short-lived cookie (five minutes) holding only a product id, so that the completion page can send its analytics event once
- Analytics about the site: pages viewed, referring domain, device and browser type, interactions such as clicks and scrolling, and page performance
We do not receive or store card numbers. By design, the buyer’s videos, audio, full transcripts and Codex or Claude credentials are never sent to this site.
What we use it for
- Confirming purchases, issuing per-buyer downloads, providing legitimate updates, handling refunds and disputes
- Tracing the source of unauthorised redistribution, preventing misuse, investigating faults, and keeping records required by law and for accounting
- Answering support requests from the buyer
- Reissuing a download when a cookie has been lost, by matching the email address entered against the payment provider’s record
An email address entered into the recovery form is used only for that match. By design it is not stored in our order database.
Processors and handling outside Japan
With analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 also receives a predefined social source (X, note or Threads), campaign name and post identifier to help us assess our educational posts. Arbitrary URL parameters and personal identifiers are not forwarded. We do not persist this campaign information in browser storage.
Stripe processes payments. Cloudflare hosts the site, the order database and the file distribution. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, tells us how many people visit and how quickly pages render. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are loaded only where a visitor has consented: Google receives pages viewed, referring domain, device information and purchase-funnel events including product and amount; Microsoft receives clicks, scrolling and navigation on the pages where it is permitted. Nothing is sent for advertising identification, and names, email addresses, order references and payment details are never sent. Clarity does not run on the purchase completion, recovery or internal test pages, and forms and order references are masked in addition.
These providers may handle data at locations outside Japan in order to run their services, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. We pass on only what is necessary and check each provider’s contractual and security commitments. Consent for Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity is stored in your browser and you can at any time.
Retention, security and requests
Order and accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires; licence and distribution records for as long as needed for legitimate updates, support and responding to unauthorised distribution; enquiry records for a reasonable period after the matter is closed. We use access control, separation of secrets, hashed tokens and encrypted transport. To ask about the purposes of use, or to request disclosure, correction or suspension of use, write to support@ltdhonkoma.com. We may be unable to act on a request where the information must be retained by law or where doing so would harm the rights of others.
